I bought this for my 8-year-old who loves to play veterinarian. I was afraid I would break it getting it out of the packaging. It is extremely flimsy and poorly constructed; the doors don't close properly, even in the box. I have told her that she will have to be extremely careful with it or it will break.
She likes it, but it is not the quality I would have expected from Breyer.

My son got this toy for his birthday. For the $29.99 price tag I expected it to be of good quality but getting it out of the box it about broke because it's so flimsy. The first time he played with it the truck broke. Literally the trailer part lifted off exposing the wires to the lights. My son is not that rough I assure you and I was there supervising. The top of the trailer never stayed on properly and eventually broke as well. He's owned this toy for 3 days now and it's being returned tomorrow. I just hate it because he wanted it so badly and was so excited. He was in tears because it kept falling apart today which is what compelled me to write this review.
***Bottom Line***
This toy has the quality of a cheap dollar store quality. Actually that's an insult to dollar store toys because I have some that are much better quality than this!!!

I don't have time to write these reviews with 2 little ones, but I feel compelled to tell you NOT to buy this toy! We just opened it up after my son fell in love with it at a local going out of business sale, 50% off original price of $35!! I thought at least it came with SOME of the accessories/animals shown on the photos all over the box! NO, it is only the truck and trailer!
We just opened it and OUT OF THE BOX one of the little fences inside the trailer already broke off (held on by microscopic pieces of plastic) and the top hinged lid of the trailer already fell off 5 times.
UPDATE SINCE I WROTE THIS 32 MINUTES AGO: Now the door handle of the truck permanently broke off! My son is not THAT rough with toys! Guess it's going in the recycle tonight after he's in bed. Poor guy keeps asking, "Can Daddy fix this?"
It is very cheaply made and flimsy, the type of toy you'd by for $5.99 at a drug store. I don't think half off of that price would have been worth it. I feel bad for the people who bought it at full price!
If the store wasn't out of business (final sale) I'd be taking in back. Instead, my son will play with it for a few more days and it'll be going into the recycle bin. Shame.

Dont waste your money--I bought this for my daighter this year 2011-for christmas and its made of this cheap plastic and the wheels dont even turn! The lights on top didnt work half the time--I really liked this toy until we opened it--please --be aware! it looks cool but doesnt work!
