 Broke after 3 weeks, never sat on horse properlyDec 12, 2009

My daughter loved this doll, but he did not bend well at the waist. So he did not sit on a horse properly. You had to make sure his feet were locked in the stirrups and even then he permanently leaned back. He worked well on a bucking horse only. After 3 weeks, he snapped at the waist and could not be put back together. A shame really as my 3 girls were so excited to finally have a rider for their multitude of horses. The barrel racer doll has held up much better and fits the horse she came with okay. Austin was a waste of money. I hope that Breyer can come up with a better design in the future. If they follow some of the new Barbie styles where the legs can bend and sit a horse, they could sell a lot of cowboys.

Cowboy does not stay on the horse very well at all! He broke in less than 30 days and was not durable AT ALL! My 5 year old was trying to bend him and fit him on the horse and he snapped in half at the waist. Was not impressed with this toy at all. While I understand that these toys are made for a slightly older child, I feel that if they'd just made him fit on the horse properly he never would have broken in the first place.

I ordered a horse and the doll with the idea they were compatible, but the cowboy does not fit on the horse. The cowboy should be displayed with a horse he can actually ride.

My daughter collects Breyer horses and accessories and loves the Kylie and Austin figures! I'd highly recommend them for kids at least 8 years old.

I bought this product for my daughter. I buy her a porcelain doll every year for christmas. I was very excited about buying her a doll that was different than anything else she had. This product is a plastic doll not porcelain. Very disapointed in the exchange. I ended up running all over town on christmas eve trying to find a suitable gift.
