It's a blanket - About the same quality as the Zsu Zsu hamster blanketMar 18, 2010
By Talvi The outside of this 'blanket'is a canvas like material that honestly doesn't feel much like a blanket (more like 'jeans' material). The inside is lined with a cheap satin material that pulls easily - mine is one day old and had a pull straight out of the package. The detail stitching is nothing special and the braid kind of looks cheap. The edging sits up at odd angles due to the cheap stitching. The breyer tag is cheaply stitched on the outside and made out of that cheap maaterial you find on underwear labels. Since it is on the outside, I would have liked it to be cloth and to have straight stitching rather than messy backstitching on crooked lines. Not sure I would want to pay more than $10 for this.

misleading and not worth the priceOct 26, 2010
By jillyboo'smom When this arrived my daughter and I were disappointed to find that only one blanket came in the package. After looking back at the actual product description I now see that it says "blanket" not blanket(s) so I guess it is my fault. However, under the decription, it says "colors and styles" may vary. Maybe when I looked at that I assumed that meant more than one blanket would arrive. At any rate, $10 for one lousy cheaply made blanket is a joke. I'll get my sewing machine out and make her 20 for that amount.

Not worth the moneyDec 19, 2010
By DanaB473 I should have read the other reviews before buying. I too thought there would be more than 1 blanket. This is a gift for my niece so it has not been opened yet and I can't comment on the durability. I'm sure she will love it, but from the buyers point of view, it's not worth the money. I am also amazed at what the 'original' price is for one blanket!
Okay for displayApr 19, 2012
By RedstoneManor I own the light blue Devon blanket pictured, and it is a pretty nice blanket. The one problem is that the velcro tends to cause tears and runs in the inner lining. I have repaired it with some superglue, and you can't tell when it is on the horse. It works perfectly well for display. However, if you are looking for a blanket to be played with, go for the Weatherbeeta or the Rambo, which have more realistic fasteners and are more durable. They're more worth the price.
