I ordered the Riding Academy, the Wash Stall Barn and the the Stablemates Red Stable set all at the same time. Had I ordered only one, I'm not sure I would have bought the others. Though my granddaughter, age 4, was extremely excited and pleased, I am afraid the set won't stand up to much play. The instructions are easy but the pieces don't "snap" together tightly and I had to resort to superglue to keep them together. The horses that go with the set are hard plastic so not as high quality as I expected. I would have paid $[...] more for each item had they been better made. Still it is an extremely cute set. The colors are vivid. My complaint is that the pieces should have snapped together and held as expected and that they should have been made a little sturdier. One accidental fall onto one of the buildings and I think it will break apart. Since I had to glue it in the first place that may be the end of this toy. Made in China says it all for me. Adorable toy, flimsy, poorly fitted pieces.

Stablemates Riding Academy
This toy is very flimsy and wouldn't go together right. The box says it is for ages 5 and up but the tabs were too small or the slots were too big (a piece broke while trying to put it together). Once it was together, the doors didn't hang right and the pieces were so small, my son would have easily lost them if I hadn't put them all together somewhere. The overall quality of this toy is so low, I wish I could rate it 0 stars. This wasn't meant to be played with... it must have been meant to set up and just look at it.

This is a very cute stable but I wouldn't call it a toy. It is so flimsy that there's no way to actually play with it. Ours will be returned and I'll look for one that won't fall apart.

I just gave this to my daughter for the first night of Hanukkah and I thought it would be a huge hit. My daughter is almost 7 and is a huge horse fan. She has many Breyer horses and loves them so I thought this would be a good addition to her collection. This piece is ridiculous - it doesn't come assembled. The instructions are clear and simple but the pieces don't snap together. When you try to put it together, pieces are constantly coming unhinged and the whole barn falls down. My daughter was in tears, saying her toy was "too delicate to play with." My husband and i are going to try some kind of super glue tomorrow but I'm not optimistic. I think i'll return the other Stablemates gift I bought her - if the construction is anything like this, we'll have another disastrous night of Hanukkah.

I bought this for my granddaughter for Christmas. She loves it. She plays with it all the time. The product is of great quality, and durability.
