Aztecas are the National Horses of Mexico and they are ridden by charros, Mexican cowboys, as cattle horses. They are known for speed, agility and endurance, and are successful in disciplines like dressage, cattle roping and polo. They are used in bullfights, too. Aztecas, like Toreo, come in lots of different colors, but only solid colors are allowed by the Azteca Horse Association of Mexico.
