5One of the best!Apr 24, 2011
By Alice BluePenn
One of my most detailed Breyer horses! The shading is realistic and the expression is just playful and inviting. It would be a great collectible for display or show. These models are NOT meant to be toys; excessive play can damage the model.

5Cute running foal!Feb 16, 2011
By Shadow
This little fella is quite an adorable foal. His pose is great, it carries all the essence a spunky foal should have. The anatomical details are fabulous. This little guy is great for playing, showing, and displaying. His finish is smooth and his roan appaloosa coloring is both realistic and interesting. Despite its good points, the model can be broken if played with too roughly. As anyone with broken Breyers would know, these guys are difficult if not impossible to glue back together.

All in all, a cute foal with a great blue roan appaloosa coloring that looks great on any collector's shelf!

5Model is greatJul 07, 2011

This was my seconed model horse and I couldn't belive my eyes when I saw its face- it is adorable! My first model was the "Little Tahoma Apaloosa" and she makes a wonderful mom for this stunning little filly. This horse has much sentimental value to me and I knew that it would be very special the very instant that I got it.

Also, this foal does NOT stand well on carpet. Unless you want to risk scratching/damaging this model or it falls and collides into another model breaking that one, than I wouldn't be setting it on carpet. If you decide to set it on carpet and it breaks than I'm sorry, but all I can say is that I told you so. Oh well, I honestly shouldn't worry about what you do with your money.

Anyways, you must add this to your collection. Never to old to play and never to young to collect. This a perfect little somthing to get for yourself and a great gift at the same time.

Thank you very much for your time,

Devon Comstock

5Breyer Shows It's Top In Equine Toys Once AgainDec 19, 2010
By J. S. Okraj "BarrelHorse324"
The detail you find in Breyer toys never seizes to amaze me. I have not seen another company put out a toy more realistic. The shading, the colors, and the structure of their toys is unmatched.

This toy is definitely a great addition to a young teens collection. Not reccommended for children under 5 as it is breakable, and with kids 6-10, it will scratch if played with roughly.

The overall educational value of this item is amazing. Easily used in 4-H or Equine educational classes to point out parts on a horse, and a great color/pattern combination for a GREAT look at the Appaloosa horse! This horse is so anatomically correct it's amazing!

Definitely a must have for collectors and young horse enthusiasts!
