5 year old plays with it endlesslyDec 03, 2005
By Elka T. Porter I got 2 fences for my 5 year old's birthday. She plays with them endlessly. She puts dinosaurs in them, "little pony's" and her imagination goes wild. The fences are easy and lightweight to set up, are quite large, and easily fold back together when done. Nice is also that they are one big part, just right for a 5 year old who doesn't have the patience to build a fence from small pieces. Elka Porter

Perfect for a child's imaginationSep 22, 2005
By NJ Mom The wooden corral is so simple it encourages hours of imaginative play. It is just the right size for my child's horses to play in and can be easily set up anywhere. Yet it is very compact when folded for storage.

Great toy for the moneyDec 06, 2008
By B. Groff The Breyer folding wood corral is one of those items which really stands the test of time. It is easy to set up, looks nice, and takes a lot of abuse. I got one of these as a child and played with it extensively and was definitely not careful with it. The design is simple, and to set up all you have to do is unfold the fence and put it in the shape you want. Then to put it away, it folds right back up into a compact shape. After playing with it as a child, I used it as a teenager in 4-H set ups, then as an adult in an equestrian themed window display. One of the best accessories Breyer ever developed.

I found easy play with it.Sep 29, 2010
It is easy to play with if you have each side connected to the walls.(Not glued!) It is kinda small but i still love it! I have needed a pasture for a while now to keep some horses that don't have stalls.

"fortunate to homeschool"
Like all the best classic toys this one is durable, intriguing, and invites all kinds of open-ended imaginative play. People say good fences make good neighbors. My 10yo son and 7yo daughter have used this toy for years to bridge their favorite playthings. Somehow, this simple fence invites my kids to interact with one another for hours on end -- day after day. Bionicles, Lego creations, and toy soldiers meet Breyer horses, Schleich critters, and stuffed animals within and across this fence daily in our home. When young friends come to visit, the fence is what they want to play with. No matter your child's interests, I recommend this product wholeheartedly!
