Renew Outback CoatJul 05, 2010
By ladym I have never used a product on my coat, so didn't really know what I was getting into. I followed directions on the Oakwood can and my coat looks really good. It was easy and not too messy.

Water Proofing clothingOct 10, 2011
By Cajunflipper Great product and supplier. Placed the can onto a electric coffee mug warmer to keep the wax completely melted and used a stiff short bristled brush to apply the wax to a Carhartt barn coat (Carhartt didn't recommend applying any oilskin wax product)with the coat draped over a plasic barrel. End product is prefect for me working around my acreage (bush hogging, chain sawing, etc), especially during the wet season. This product permanently stains the fabric to a darker color.

Good product for complete reproofingApr 24, 2011
By Muleears I used this on a Barbour that had not been reproofed in years and it brought it back nicely. Good value compared to the Barbour product. However, I have used the Barbour product too and I think it is easier to use. Both reproofed to satisfactory finish.
Quite satisfiedJan 25, 2011
By S. C. Meyers The product worked well to restore the water proofing on my oil skin jacket. The seller was very honest and let me know before shipping that the label on the can was slightly discolored, through no fault of their own (and offered a refund if necessary). I'd highly recommend this product and the seller.
Worked well for my hatDec 29, 2010
By Nate I have an oilskin hat I use when I'm out in the rain hiking/camping... and after many years of use, it was time to be reproofed.
This stuff worked great. It's a bit of a mess to deal with, but well worth the effort. (Do some googling for methods, but I found that a hair dryer was my friend to get the final finish even.)
