Fun Activity, Great for Coordination!Aug 28, 2009

My three year old got this for her birthday. It doesn't look like much at first, but she really loves creating the mosaics. Each picture is on thick cardstock with colored squares, triangles, and circles. The kids need to pick the correct color/shape sticker that fits on each spot of the picture. When they are done, it creates a really cool picture for them to hang up. I like that it is artistic and educational at the same time. She's so proud of herself when its done. I would definitely recommend it.

I highly recommend these. I bought these for my 3 year old grandson and he just loved them. They are easy for younger children since they are color and shape coded, so they don't have to know numbers or letters. When his 3, 4 and 5 year old friends saw them they wanted to do them also. (This kit comes with multiple pictures.) The pieces can be a bit difficult for a younger child to pull off the master sheet but are fairly easy to place onto the picture without assistance. If you are purchasing these for a 3 or 4 year old make sure you get the "MY FIRST" Sticky Mosaics as they contain larger pieces and so are easier for younger children to handle. (There are Sticky Mosaic kits for older kids and they are great also.)

This is a really great product for children who are just starting out with mosaics. Not only are the designs cute for little children, but the stickers are age appropriate for children who cannot read numbers. Rather than using numbers, this product uses color and shape recognition to create a picture of a pet. It's superbly educational and really great for building fine motor skills. Great for kids who especially know their shapes and colors.

3 year old Grand-daughter loved this art project. She could do this all by herself and was very proud of the results. If they know their colors and shapes they can do this alone and it keeps their attention until it is done. Will order more :)

I was introduced to this product at a child's birthday party. Each box comes with five cards, so the Mom bought a couple of boxes and each kid at the party had a great time completing his or her mosiac. I've since bought my own box, and it has become my secret weapon for keeping my three and a half year old daughter occupied. I used it on a long plane ride and it was fantastic. The pieces stick well so they don't fall all over the place as beads (and even crayons) do, and it kept my daughter busy for a good hour. Now I use them every once in a while when I need a little quiet time at home.
