Fun, Entertaining, Top of List for post-Christmas funDec 26, 2007

I can judge the Christmas gifts but what my children clamor for first. This is one of those items. They're playing with it now. They each chose a picture and are sticking the little foam squares to their mosaics now. It's keeping them occupied and they're having a good time. I've found that the tiny foam squares are a bit awkward for my 4 year old, but after a few she got the hang of it. My 7 year old is sticking them like a pro. I'm concerned that there aren't enough of certain colors to complete all the sheets in the box. We're dangerously low on yellow...and after a visit to the manufacturers web site I can't buy more pieces. A definite minus as I expect we'll be low after we had some issues getting started this morning. But, all in all I like this toy/art kit. It's certainly more creative and fun than some of the other toys they got for Christmas and it was their first choice of what to open and play with today so they love it too.

Fun toyNov 01, 2009

This is a fun project but I must say it takes a long time and many kids don't have the patience. The stickers are tiny and the peeling of each individual one can be tedious and messy. But if your child has the attention span and loves a lengthy project- its a good one.

Love it!Sep 01, 2008
By Fluffernutter My daughter, 9, received this toy as a gift and she absolutey loves it. It is fun and easy because all of the pieces are sticky foam squares as opposed to real tiles. All of the kids had a good time helping her out. The pictures are cute and we've actually ordered more for Christmas and for gifts.

Fun & DurableFeb 27, 2009
By Jessica Durbin I purchased this item for my 5-year old daughter. The mosaics stick to numbered sheets. The sheets are made out of cardboard, so they are very durable. It is a little difficult for her to handle the small pieces and sometimes she gets frustrated trying to make it all up to make the picture. That makes me think that this would be better suited for a child maybe 6-10. But with my help she's able to work on this and there is plenty of supplies there to create many projects and get a lot of use out of it. I'd purchase this item again.

great bday gift to give and getApr 02, 2011
By Tami, Brooklyn Mom we got this as a birthday gift for our 5 year old and she loved it. Now, we give it to all of her friends on their birthdays. It takes an hour or so to do each of the mosaics. And your child, if in the 5 year old range, will definitely need your help. But a fun mommy/daughter project!
