I bought this for my 4 year old. She loved it - easy to put on but not so easy to get them to stay on. I think we will be finding these all over the house for years to come.

I bought two of these for my girls, 4 and 6, for Christmas, and the 6-year-old loved it. I think she had every little adhesive jewel in place before the day was done.
However, it didn't take long to discover this box's biggest flaw. For whatever reason, many of the jewel stickers don't want to stay on the box and end up falling all over the house. I usually find them after they've stuck to my socks.
Now, there are probably a couple hundred stickers on the box, and maybe a couple dozen have fallen off so far. The box still looks pretty good, and my daughter doesn't seem to notice the missing jewels. I definitely would have rated it higher if the thing could have gone more than a week before shedding its jewels.

The jewelry box is pretty and more durable than I originally thought it would be. It has survived two show and tells and trips between houses with only five missing pieces. Because my daughter decorated it she takes very good care of the box. I wouldn't have thought that this product really encouraged creativity but there were enough extra jewels that she was able to personalize it. I was very happy with this product.

My daughter has made several items similar to this Sticky Mosaics box (first time with this brand). Not sure if these were stored in a place that was too hot or cold before shipped or if the adhesive is just very poor, but many of these couldn't be removed from the plastic without the adhesive peeling off. I know there are a few extras- I hope it's enough to cover all these damaged ones (she has gotten pretty good at wiggeling them off to try to keep the glue on- better than I would guess most 5 year olds would have the patience for).

This is perfect for a Birthday gift, for your own child or for one of your child's friends. It's a great price point. We haven't really found that the stickers fall off; I guess it depends on how much its being used.
