 Smells Awful, But Will Grow Human Hair!!!!Jul 24, 2010

I heard about this product a few years ago. I started using it when I moved to NC in 2008 and couldn't find a job. This stuff smells really bad, but you will experience a lot of hair growth in a very short time. I braided my hair then applied the MTG. I put a plastic bag on my hair and a scarf and slept this way every night. I always washed my hair and conditioned it when I was going out because the scent of sulfur isn't very attractive to me and I didn't want to explain the smell. My hair is very thick and long now. I had to stop using the MTG to slow down the growth of my hair. Please Note: If you have female pattern baldness or Alopica this product will not correct the problem. I would suggest you use Alter Ego Energizing Hair Lotion and Alter Ego Hair Loss and Growth Shampoo.

I've had my hair natural for 10yrs now & been suffering with Traction Alopecia since 2003 due to bad micro-braid jobs, applying chemical relaxers (to hair line only) without using neutralizing shampoo (clueless at the time) & constant wearing of weaves back to back. It was so bad I had to use black eyeliner to fill in the bald spots whenever my hair was in a ponytail. Anyways I received my M-T-G September 14th, the smell was horrible but had no choice but to try it. It's now October 5th & my bald patches are filling in perfectly, length has grown so much in a short period of time. No visible bald spots/scalp whenever I brush my hair back just THICKER HAIR!! lol
MY Routine: 1. Wear disposable gloves, wrap a towel around neck (for spillage) 2. Braid hair in affected area (edges to above my ear) 3. Shake bottle vigorously then apply just a little to the scalp & pin the braids up with a bobby pin 4. Cut a grocery bag into a medium sized strip then tie it around my head to cover the area applied 5. Wrap a satin scarf over the plastic bag. I leave the M-T-G in until it's time for my hair to be shampooed which is every 2-3 weeks, the smell fades after 1 day gotten used to it). I apply M-T-G 2 times a week. So what you waiting on Girlz??? Try it!! :)

I'm an African American female who suffered from hair thinning at 25! OMG, it was because I was doing my own at home perms to save money because I was struggling financially plus genetics played a part. My hair became thinner and thinner and was uneven in length eventually and by the time I hit 30 I had to wear weaves to cover up the balding on top of my head! I came across youtube in June and up until then youtube for me was used to watch music videos that MTV and VH1 no longer played. I was so distraught that I searched "thinning edges" and POW my life has changed since! I did the bc 5 years ago and never cared for my natuaral hair because I was never taught how to do it. My mother permed my hair in the 5th grade and thats all I ever knew. MTG has sprouted my edges that we're gone from frying my roots with perms and having my edges pulled tight by African braids (the true culprit). I purchased in August and am happy with the results. I still have some thin spots but with continued use of this product I will have more hair in the front of my head. I have length also. I noticed a few pimples but it indicated to me that my follicals were reawakened! The bottle will last you a looonng time! I smelled like bacon the first day but all you need in a hair weave refresher to cover the smell. But now I use it and don't notice an odor anymore. I'm 39 and encourage the young women to give up the perms and use this product for length. Great buy!

Im on my second bottle! Yes it stinks! But you get use to it! I grow almost a full inch of hair a month when I'm consistent.

After reading all the blogs and reviews about this product I decided to try it after my "Big Chop". I have been using it since September 26th. It works. I have about an inch of new growth already (17 days). A little goes a long way. It does smell like burnt bacon but what I do is transplant some in a smaller bottle with a spout. I add a little peppermint oil to it and It smells great. Makes your scalp tingle in the process. I use it every night before bed and cover with a satin bonnet. It does not drip if you use only a little. I am happy with the results so far. My goal is 12 inches in 12 months. I will keep you posted!!! I give this product 2 thumbs up!
