 Lovely and simple for meticulous fingers.Jul 22, 2010
The pictures and foamy sticker/mosaic tiles are very pretty and easy to use. You get several pictures in here and the pictures come out great. Your child has to have a very good attention span for repeated, careful work. My 7 year old daughter did the mermaid but then sort of lost interest in the others. We did one together which was more fun. The jewel mosaics that are in the kit are also very pretty. But many of them...the sticky part separated from the jewel so they didn't adhere. However, I would buy this again as I think it's a good value and very pretty projects.

My daughter got this for a Christmas present when she was 5 years old. As she played this at her friend's house, she knew about it. As she likes crafts, drawing, coloring, Origami, etc., she really loved it and kept going one after another. If your child likes this sort of activity, this is a great pastime. You can keep her occupied for a loooong time. Perfect for a rainy, snowy, stormy or "too hot to play outside" day. As the stickers are all in small pieces, I thought it was good for her coordination skills, but be prepared for the mess (trash paper from the small stickers)!

I'm forever looking for new craft toys for my daughter and nephew and thought this might be fun. I'm glad I bought them Sticky Mosaics for Christmas. I purchased the Dragon Sticky Mosaic for our 7 yr. old nephew and he really liked it. My 6 yr. daughter loved this Jewels set. She really enjoyed doing these. What's really nice is you can hang them as art when you're done. We're decorating her room w/ this set...they go perfectly w/ her pink walls and they really look nice! $17 seemed pricey but you do get several boards and stickers and jewel stickers. My only problem w/ this set is as other reviewers pointed out....not enough stickers. You must be sure to not mess up and use the wrong color, or too many of a certain color or else you may run out and not have them for another template. I was disappointed to read one reviewer said the company does not sell stickers separately. I might have given this toy a 5 had they. Overall, I'd buy it again and will consider it as a birthday gift for other crafty kids.

My daughter got this for Christmas last year when she was almost 5. I cannot believe how long and diligently she would sit and work on this project! She was very pleased with the finished product and we gave each sheet away as a gift (after taking a picture of her with her piece of "artwork!"
I highly recommend this craft--even for a slightly younger child.

This is a fun project but I must say it takes a long time and many kids don't have the patience. The stickers are tiny and the peeling of each individual one can be tedious and messy. But if your child has the attention span and loves a lengthy project- its a good one.
